This is the third of five circular walks, where we will be walking along the valley from the source of the River Ver to its confluence with the River Colne. The third part is from Redborn towards St Albans along both sides of the valley. This undulating walk will be muddy in places, so please bring poles if needed. Please also bring along a packed lunch and drinks for the day as we will not be passing any suitable refreshment locations.
Meet at the car park on West Common, Redbourn, next to the cricket club where there is free parking. If this is full, please park respectfully around the village.
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you.
The leader has set a limit of 18 walkers and requires you to book. If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
