Overview

Starting at Hardwick Ponds car park, we cross through the Hardwick Estate with views of Hardwick Hall to reach Ault Hucknall. Via a section of the Rawthorne Trail, we then walk to Silverhill Wood Country Park before returning to Hardwick Ponds. The Hardwick Inn has a large garden so it would be possible to have a drink there at the end of the walk. Some paths have uneven terrain and are prone to mud with one short stretch being narrow. There are short sections of lane walking and a brief section is close to areas of open water. There are a couple of stiles. The section of the Rawthorne Trail is joint user with cyclists and horse riders. There could be grazing cattle in fields on the Hardwick Estate.

If you would like to join this walk please email the Walk Leader using the link above. Numbers are limited to 25.

This walk will be led by Adrian and Lynne.

Please bring a packed lunch.
