Sorry, as this walk has been well-publicised via Bathscape Walking Festival publicity, it is now fully booked. At other times of the year, there is no need to book a place on our walks so, if you were unable to get a space on this walk, please do join us on one of our future walks.
Join us for a lovely walk through meadows and the unspoilt villages of South Stoke, and Combe Hay, enjoying glorious countryside views and passing impressive remains of the disused Somerset Coal Canal. Mostly level but one short hill to climb. Please bring a drink and picnic lunch for a couple of short stops.
Walking boots are recommended and walking poles would be helpful, if you have them.
Assistance dogs only, please.
The 5 mile route includes steep sections, stiles and steps and it may be muddy in places. There are resting places on route and we will keep the pace to suit you.
There are toilets at the start at the car park. Please bring a drink and picnic lunch.
You can take the Park & Ride bus up from the city centre (4 and 41). Or drivers will need to pay £2 to park at Odd Down Park and Ride – payment can be done by card, or by using a mobile phone.
The walk is free but, as numbers are limited, please book a place via the Eventbrite link below.
