We are the Sheffield Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting at Fulwood shops, the route will be Ivy Cottage Lane, Common Lane, Smeltings Farm, Lady Cannings Plantation, Ox Stones (lunch spot if fine), Brown Edge Quarries, Mayfield Valley, and finishes back at Fulwood. Varied scenery, with woodland, fields, some moorland, and small amount of road walking. Likely to be muddy in places. Possibly cattle. No serious hills, but gradually upward for first half, then back down again.
Bus 120 from Flat Street, at 09.57 am, to Fulwood shops, at bottom of Crimicar Lane.
Leader will meet bus in Fulwood.
