We are the Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting near the shoreline in Garelochead the walk climbs to join the Three Lochs Way. Great views over Gare Loch. There is then a long section of tarmac, Yankee Road, as the trek goes down Glen Fruin, before climbing over the final hill to drop into woods and emerge into Helensburgh at The Hill House.
This walk is on at least 80% is on tarmac roads with a short section of boggy ground to go over and with care we should be able to step around that. If weather good prior to walk then the recommendation is to not wear boots

Travel to start of walk by private bus. Pick up points in Cumbernauld: 8:50am - Craiglinn Roundabout Bus Stop 8:55am - Condorrat Main Road Bus Stop. 9.00 am - Meet at Fleming House car park, Tryst Rd, Cumbernauld (see map) **** Bus back at Cumbernauld approximately 6pm. ****
