We are the Surrey Young Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Meeting at Guildford station we will head south west climbing steeply up the Mount. Circling round past Loosely Park we will en up back at the river Wey. Sojourning along the riverside we will cross (toilets at Shalford park) and head up to do a loop south east of Guildford taking in Chantries and St. Martha's Hill before returning toward Guildford in time-honoured fashion via Pewley Downs. The walk is fairly undulating/hilly and takes in the high points around Guildford. We can stop for a drink in Guildford on return should comrades desire. I'm afraid gaiety is not guaranteed.
