We are the Dundee & District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk around the pretty little village of Glamis and its surrounding countryside. There is a little bit of everything including walking through woodlands, on tracks and minor roads and a gradual ascent to provide views over the village and on a clear day to the mountains beyond. A short slightly steeper ascent up Denoon Hill to the remains of an ancient hill fort provides further views of the area. Please bring a packed lunch. Booking required.
Booking your place
If you would like to join this walk, you are required to book a place from SUNDAY 25TH FEBRUARY between the hours of 8.00 am to 8.00 pm up to 24 HOURS BEFORE THE WALK STARTS by contacting Hilary Miller on 07905 650943 (ideally by text, and if not by phone) and giving your name and telephone number. Booking will be on a first come first served basis.
If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place. Please do not turn up for a walk without booking, as we will have to turn you away.
