Overview

Start by walking up towards East Lomond then down to Freuchie and over to Muirhead and Kirkforthar. Return through Lochmuir Wood skirting Balbirnie and back by the Coul Burn path to Pitcairn. Mainly on good paths with some field edges and a little road walking.
