We are the West Midlands 40+Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
9 mile half canal, half woods walk from Gnosall to Norbury split in to two parts in opposite directions. Starting in Gnosall the route takes the ‘Way for the Millennium’ out of town which is the old railway line. We then turn north across farm to make our way to the Shropshire Union Canal and follow it to Norbury Junction. We then take part of the millennium trail through Shelmore Wood head south back to the canal which takes us back to Gnosall. Can be done as a shorter 6 mile walk if you are happy to return self-guided along the canal.
To attend this walk you must first register using the google form linked below please. This is for insurance purposes and is a Ramblers prerequisite. THE START POINT IS PROVIDED ON THE FORM. The information will only be used for walk attendance purposes. You cannot just turn up on the day.
