Brian will be leading a walk from Golitha Falls, walking along forest paths, across fields and along quiet country lanes. We will cross Bullard Downs to King Donniert's Stone then along footpaths to reach St. Cleer. Some small lanes and a bridleway will take us to Trethevy Quoit. The return route is on lanes passing through the farms of Treworrick and Redgate. Finishing with coffee/tea and cake and a good natter at the end.
Bring boots, food and drink. Sticks are highly recommended. Sorry, no dogs. The terrain is very awkward in places with overhanging branches and, in one place deep mud which can be avoided if you have good balance. There is one road crossing towards the end which can be dangerous but only if you don't obey the walk leaders instructions. There are also a number of stiles, (10), some of which are awkward.
