A pretty walk almost entirely in West Berkshire. We start from the centre of Goring, head across to Streatley, with a fine view over Goring Gap heading upwards into the Holies, then into Lower and Upper Basildon with a section along the Thames. Then we continue on to the hamlet of Westridge Green and Thurle Down, and near the end depending on how we all feel, we can climb up to Lardon Chase to admire some more lovely views. We'll return to Goring soon after. There will be some hills to climb at times throughout the walk, and we'll likely get back by around 6:30pm, so later in the day.
Start point: Wheel Orchard car park, Goring, RG8 9HB. what3words: ///aquatic.marathons.afflicted. Please try to arrive about 10-15 minutes before the start time.
