Overview

Much of the canal towpath is tarmac. Plenty of bird life, boats, flowers and bushes as well as interesting buildings, woodland and parkland. A visit to a beautiful Sikh gurdwara in Southall; covered heads and shoe removal required for the inner sanctum. Possibility of shared lunch with the Sikhs, or lunch by the canal. Toilets at the gurdwara and The Old Crown pub at the end of the walk. Food and drinks can be purchased in Southall. Register your email with the leader for notification of changes. Do check your email after 6pm on the night before the walk just in case.
