We are the East Essex Friends Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A walk in the Essex countryside.
The walk is about 4.1 miles long and there are no stiles. If anyone would like a shorter walk then one is available of 2.7 miles but walkers will need to leave us before our break.
A reminder that the Rose and Crown has a very small car park so please do not park there if you are not lunching. We return through Great Waltham village and there are parking space on the road near the gate house to Langley’s or in Hatchfield road on the left just beyond the gate house. It’s less than 0.25 miles from there to the pub and we will pass your car on the way back.
