We are the New Mills Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

From the Bowstones we will follow the Gritstone Trail to Bakestonedale Road, then to Further Harrop Farm, Bakestonedale Moor and Park Moor.
We normally stop for a drink after about an hour walking and we stop for lunch at about 12:30 so bring along a hot or cold drink and a packed lunch.

The Starting point is the Bowstones on Bowstonegate Road Disley BUT as this has limited parking we will meet at the Lay-by Mudhurst Lane on the left shortly before High Peak School when approaching from Higher Disley. (We’ll then reduce to 3 cars if necessary and ferry people up to the Bow Stones. If it looks like there’ll only be 3 cars, I’ll tell people to go straight to the Bow Stones.) Those going straight to the meet starting place please inform the leader when booking in case of any late changes
