No excuses for another walk in Wendy's favourite area but she think there may be a few paths we haven’t done before.

The route takes us along the road to walk through Sheet Hedges Wood then across to Anstey.

We then make our way to Bradgate Park where we will have our morning break.

We then follow the paths through the Park to the Cropston car park then over to Swithland Woods.

We will glimpse Old John but we will not be climbing up there.

From here we make our way to Newtown Linford where we are assured a warm welcome at The Linford Club and can sit outside to eat our own food if we are buying a drink
(let’s hope for a fine day).

We then make our way back to Groby walking through some lovely flower meadows.

The route is fairly flat with only one stile. 9/9.5 miles depending whether it’s dry enough to do the loop around Swithland Woods.
