Overview

8 mile walk through Hadleigh country park. 

Starting at Benfleet station, we head down small gains creek to Leigh station then uphill (The only hill) to Hadleigh castle.  We walk back through the country park by Olympic mountain bike track to the Salvation Army hub cafe. Then onwards down through the woods on established tracks to Benfleet Station

Fairly flat walk with only one hill, although it is quite steep, walking on established tracks. We take in a river side walk including a bird sanctuary.

There is ample pay and display parking at Benfleet
