We are the Black Country Young Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Matt is leading a 5 mile easy walk.
EASY CIRCULAR SEMI RURAL WALK: Starting from the pub car park
we will cross the fields passing the remains of Halesowen Abbey. We will then cross manor
way to follow the Dudley no2 canal to the Leasowes. After climbing through the park there
will be a short distance of urban walking after which we rejoin the countryside crossing fields
to pass Lapal farm on our return to the Black Horse where we can stop for a drink afterwards
TERRAIN: Mixture of beautiful, open countryside, parkland and urban walking
Please arrive at 18:45 for a 19:00 start.
