Overview

Paul is leading a 10 mile easy walk.

Starting from the William Shenstone, we will cross go down Church lane onto the Rumbow, here we will cross and climb the steps towards Cobham Rd, we will go through paths and join the A459 where we will cross at the crossing and go into Halesmere rd. we will then join the disused canal turning left until we join Leasowes park. We will climb through the park joining a path that leads to the top of Mucklow hill. we will cross the hill joining a path that leads down to the canal. walking along the canal we will walk along crossing the metal bridge until we join Gorsty hill. Our first pub will be The Bell and Bear. We will stay for a beer before going further up the hill onto Highfield cres. We will join a path which leads to Highfield rd then crossing Beeches rd, we will walk past the nights Quest and then walk to The Old Bush Revived, where we will have another beer. we will then drop down to the Waterfall. Join the canal and then walk towards Haden Hill swimming baths going through the park and then to the Haden Cross. We will then rejoin the park and walk towards Hayseech. Climbing up to Hawne Lane onto Carol Crescent.

We will then go into the Hawne Tavern then onto, The Whitley. We will then walk down Stourbridge Rd towards Halesowen going in The prince Albert and then our last pub The Waggon and Horses. We can then go for a curry afterwards when back in town at The Bangla Lounge.

Unfortunately no dogs as they are not welcome in all the pubs.

Please arrive at 10:45 for a 11:00 start.
