More challenging than normal via Wayfarers Walk, Soberton and Russell's Fm
Short steep beginning with a few gentle ups and downs; about 50% on the flat with a few stiles. Stop for mid morning break - pole may be useful and can be muddy if wet.
POST RECCE UPDATE 6 Mar 25 - As expected still a small number of muddy/slippery sections. Commences with easy incline plus a 5 min steep section. Only other uphill is mid route on tarmac, the remainder is relatively flat and includes tracks and uneven footpaths. Good supportive boots a must and a pole may be useful. 8 stiles (1 challenging due to broken furniture). Mid walk break.
