Overview

A circular walk along surfaced and good woodland paths.   The peninsula loop is the most scenic part of the Rutland Water Reservoir and has fewer walkers and cyclists on it. Please bring a packed lunch as there are no pubs or cafes on route.  At the of the walk there is the choice of the Finches Arms in the village, cafes and pubs in Oakham and the Barnsdale Gardens Helenium Tea Room.
