Overview

A moderate circular walk of approximately 6 miles starting from Harlaw Reservoir car park. Walking past Harlaw and Theipmuir reservoirs to a steady climb up past Bavelaw Castle. Then follow the Kirk Road through the Green Cleugh to rise onto the lower slopes of Black Hill. Then descending gently above Threipmuir into woodland before returning to the car park.

Good paths and tracks, may be muddy in places, and walking poles are advised if you have them. 

Beautiful scenery. 

Meet at MIBC (EH22 1JD) for car share for 9.30am or at Harlaw Reservoir Car Park (EH14 7BF) for 10am to start the walk.
