Overview

BOOKING REQUESTED

South toward Beresford Dale and Wolfscote Dale turning east before Lode Lane to climb out of Wolfescote Dale and head for the Tissington Trail. Heading toward the village of Biggin. Before that a minor diversion leaving the trail (depends on weather) to relieve the tedium of the old railway track for a short while and have a lunch break. Rejoin the trail before crossing fields to Biggin and returning to the start via Highfield Lane. Risk assessment: No obvious hazards. It is limestone country and may be slippery in parts. A few fields to be crossed maybe livestock present. A couple of accessible stiles. A relatively relaxing walk overall.
