Overview

A lovely walk through the south Northamptonshire countryside visiting a wind farm, the village of Piddington and Salcey Forest. This ancient medieval royal hunting forest is home to 'druids'. or veteran oaks, some of which are over 600 years old and home to rare and amazing wildlife habitats. Returning via fields to Hartwell. 3 stiles at start of walk.
