We are the Surrey Heath Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A leisurely walk beginning at the Blackwater and Hawley Memorial Hall, walking through the trees, then along the old runway and over to the Trig point on Hawley Hill. Then down the hill, across the Common and around the Lake, before returning up through the trees to the start point.
Well made paths and forest trails. Some gentle slopes. Will be muddy after rain.
Blackwater and Hawley Memorial Hall car park on Hawley Green, off Fernhill Road in Hawley. With the M3 closure between J3 and J4 this weekend (21:00 on the 8th to 06:00 on the 11th) traffic is likely to be heavy around the A30/ A331/M3 junctions so please bear this in mind for Sundays walk at Hawley.
