A circular walk of approx. 7 miles towards the east of Hatfield Broad Oak. There are a few short muddy stretches and an overgrown stretch of the path, so waterproof boots and long trousers are recommended. There is only one stile on this walk, but it's got the step missing so is slightly cumbersome to climb over.
Walkers who prefer a shorter and easier walk have the option to take an easy to follow shortcut roughly from the half-way point along country lanes via Cammas Hall fruit farm. This reduces the walk to approx. 6 miles and cuts out the stile and the overgrown path.
Walkers are invited to join me for lunch at The Duke's Head PH after the walk. I have booked a table for 1.45 p.m. Pre-booking of food is not required. A link to the lunch menu is provided below for information.
