Overview

From Headley Heath National Trust car park, cross Headley Common Road and follow the woodland footpath along Tye Lane and Buckland Lane, circling around Pfizer UK, through Dawcombe Nature Reserve and cross the bridge over the M25 towards Walton Heath. Great views south from the North Downs. Cross Walton Heath, cross Dorking Road (second time), and follow the path to Mere Pond in Walton-On-The-Hill. After a break at 7km at Mere Pond (coffee shop and toilet available), walk through the village, following the path through the fields and woodland, head under the M25, then back up to Headley Heath and back to the NT car park.

Several stiles (not all dog friendly). Three inclines. One major road to cross twice.

May be muddy after a lot of rainfall and sticks would be useful.
