Our journey commences at The Roaches Tearoom, where you'll find the option of free lay-by parking or convenient all-day parking for £2 at the Tearoom itself. Get ready for an extraordinary adventure as we begin with a scenic walk over Hen Cloud and The Roaches, offering breathtaking views of the Staffordshire Moorlands and the Cheshire Plain.
Descending into the Back Forest, we'll encounter the mysterious wonder of Lud's Church (Chasm), adding a touch of intrigue to our expedition. Our route then leads us to the charming River Dane at Wincle, where we'll follow the picturesque Dane Valley Way towards Gradbach.
The journey continues with an ascent through Back Forest, bringing us back to our starting point, where you can indulge in a well-deserved tea and cake at The Roaches Tearoom (if you wish).
