Good views from Borough Hill. New paths to the Canal. Horsepath to Braunston Locks. Deserted Village. Millenium Woodland. Old Railway
From the heights of Borough Hill we walk along the golf course. After a short decent and road section we visit the Country Park and reservoir. A new path will take us to the Grand Union Canal. We follow the towpath to the tunnel mouth, then the horse path to the lock flight at Braunston. There are canal shops and a Pub here. Continuing on there is the deserted villages of Braunstonbury and Wolfhampcote. The return walk takes in a Millenium Woodland and an abandoned railway track.
At the free car park located on the right, at the top of the single track road from Admiral's Drive in Daventry. There is a brown tourist sign at this point.
