Join us outside the Eyam Museum, conveniently located on Hawkshill Road in Eyam (S32 5QP), as we begin our exciting adventure. A car park awaits opposite the museum, offering toilet facilities for a daily rate of £6. Additionally, there are some free parking spots available around the village.
To ensure a smooth start, kindly arrive at 9.45 a.m., allowing time to park your vehicle and gear up for our departure at 10 a.m.
During our exhilarating journey, we'll be treated to exceptional views along Bretton Clough, Stoke Ford, and the picturesque moors, featuring exhilarating ascents and descents of approximately 1700 ft. Our route will encompass the beautiful and intriguing villages of Eyam and Foolow, adding to the charm of this expedition.
For those seeking a well-deserved break, we have two potential pub stops to choose from: The Barrel at Bretton, the highest pub in the Peaks, and/or The Miners Arms back in Eyam, both offering a warm welcome and refreshments to recharge your spirits.
