Overview

4 miles - the first part of the walk is fairly flat but the lanes towards the end of the walk are a gentle climb. There are no stiles! The route goes from Holcombe Rogus Church along field footpaths and farm tracks to the towpath at Fenacre Bridge. We then follow the 200 year old canal past the Waytown lime kilns which were used until the late 19th century, returning on lanes to the village. There is an opportunity to buy locally produced cider (bottles or boxes) from Ridgeway Cider at the end of our route!
