21/12/2025 - POST RECCE UPDATE. Mainly gravel paths with just a little surface mud. Several shallow puddles that can easily be walked around. Still a good idea to wear waterproof boots. Wet leaves underfoot can be slippery, walking pole may be useful.
A scenic walk through woodland and alongside the River Hamble, via Andark Lake, Downkiln Copse and Wendleholme Nature Reserve.

Mainly flat with a couple of short inclines. No stiles. Expect some mud - waterproof boots recommended and a walking pole may be useful.
Bring your own refreshments for a mid-walk break.
Dogs must be under close control at all times.
