We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Pre-registration preferred but not essential**
Moderate to brisk paced 20km/12.4mile walk with some ascent - about 5.5 hours net walking. Drop-outs for bus to station from Grayshott/Hindhead.
Route: Haslemere Station, Marley Common, HOOP via The Ridge, Linchmere Common, Hammer Bottom, Bramshott Common, Waggoners Wells, Grayshott, Whitmore Vale and Hindhead to Gibbet Hill and Temple of the Four Winds. Descent to Haslemere Station via Invall and Coombe Head.
Lunch Stop: pub lunch at Fox & Pelican (Grayshott).
Meet at Haslemere Station at 10.55.
Travel: Waterloo 10.00/Woking 10.25 arr 10.54
Finish: Haslemere Station about 5pm.
