We are the Epsom and Ewell Group of the Ramblers
A circular and largely on the flat walk, starting from Horton Country Park Car Park and exploring the nearby Epsom and Ashtead Commons. The clockwise walk will take us past the epsom well, the back of Ashtead village (near the railway station) towards the Malden Rushet road before heading back past views of Rushet farm and in between the stew ponds.
There are toilets at the Horton car park. There will be a stop for a coffee break. The walk is on common tracks some of which can be muddy if wet. One busy road to cross but there is a pedestrian crossing.
Refreshments - there are no refreshment facilities on the walk, so please bring a drink/coffee and a snack.
Dogs - some areas of the commons require dogs to be on leads.
