We are the Devon Bootlegs Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A walk in our Solar system starting from Bridgewater Railway station in Somerset we will walk along the canal through our Solar system .Hope fully having Lunch near The sun at Mansell locks, where there are Tea rooms and a pub. After lunch as we will need to Cool down we will walk away from the sun through our Solar system again. A good walk for Train spotters. as we follow the main train line most of the way passing Cogload junction The walk Is flat and is mostly on canal towpath with a bit of road walking at the start and finish.
I will probably Drive to Taunton railway station and park and get the Train to Bridgewater from there, so that when we Finish I can just drive home I will have space in my car from Exeter or get a train direct to Bridgewater. I have put this walk on a Saturday as it will be a long day. The walk is probally easy to moderate but long and flat and tiring especially on your feet.
