Intermediate walk - From Keiloch Car Park cross the Invercauld Bridge to visit the stunning (hopefully) Garbh Sheil Falls then retracing our steps back to Invercauld Bridge we follow the waymarked path to Braemar. Total 6 miles or 3.5 miles from the Invercauld bridge to Braemar. All good paths
Main walk - From the parking area at Inver follow the road marked Aberarder then following a good road and landrover track to Auchtavan at the head of Glen Fearder. The preserved buildings have a wooden hanging chimney. Continuing up the glen we cross 2 fords which are pretty dry at time of visit. We traverse round the side of Tom na h-Eilrig picking up a path at NO 17879 96208 The path takes us to Keiloch Car Park via moorland and wooded areas. Walking below Meall Gorm and Craig Leek, passing close to Invercauld House Total 9 miles, 338 mtrs of ascent
Weather depending the fords may be difficult to cross. If the weather is bad an alternative foul weather route will be done. We will stop at Ballater for boots change and comfort stop. Toilets may be available at Keiloch.
Please be prepared for wet weather with waterproofs and warm clothing. As we all know even in June our weather can be unpredictable
