From Legges Way car park (free parking), Madeley, (adjacent to Madeley police station), following the Silkin Way down to Coalport, where we cross the river by the Woodbridge Inn (we will be eating here at 3pm for those who wish to stay for a Sunday lunch approx £23 per person).
Then heading towards Ironbridge, along the Severn Valley Way, passing Jackfield and eventually crossing the river again via the Ironbridge.
Quick comfort stop at the town centre then heading up Lincoln Hill towards the Rotunda Steps.
Opportunity to also grab a pork pie from the town they are yummy.
The climb up the steps is very steep and uneven, but well worth it to see the views (and catch our breath after 5 mins uphill) at the top!
The route then heads towards the outskirts of Madeley, descending down to Rough Park Way and back towards the Silkin Way and back to the car park.
