Meet in Keswick to get the bus to the start of the walk in Grange, walk up the Borrowdale Valley, through the Jaws of Borrowdale, visiting Millican Dalton's Cave and finishing in Rosthwaite. Due to flooding it is not possible to start the walk at the Ladore Falls Hotel as originally published.
Regular buses back to Keswick. If you are lucky enough to get an open top bus, sit upstairs on the drivers side and watch out for overhanging branches. It can be quite a roller coaster ride.
In Rosthwaite there is the excellent Flock-Inn Tearoom. Unfortunately the Scafell Hotel and Riverside Bar have been closed since January this year and is up for sale if you fancy running a hotel/pub
