Overview

Come and enjoy a change of scenery, very close to the motorway junction and only 30 minutes from Wigan and 40 minutes from Horwich.

A walk through Cheshire fields and along wooded valleys to include the beautiful estate of Peover Hall and a close up view of the Lovell telescope at Jodrell Bank.

The walk is easy in terms of terrain with no climbs but is 11 miles in length.

Please park carefully on local streets and meet on foot by The Crown pub. WA16 9QB. Please do not use the pub car park. From the N take J 19 from the M6 and take the A556 towards Northwich. Turn left onto Plumley Moor Road. At the end turn right and follow the road into Swan Green.
