Parking in field on LHS of Church Hill facing church. Please consider texting a nominal donation towards the church's upkeep, as per local sign instructions. Famous medieval wall paintings inside church. Why not take a walk in Syndale Valley? The path takes us through the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and explores the peace and solitude of quaint villages, and wildlife havens. Bring a picnic lunch to accompany mid-way drinks at [The Plough, Stalisfield](https://theploughinnstalisfield.co.uk/). Our route ends near The [Chequers Pub in Doddington](https://www.chequersinndoddington.co.uk/) ([ME9 0BG](https://www.google.com/maps/@51.2831685,0.7739296,16z)) if you wish to socialise further but their kitchen will be closed until the evening.
