Overview

The first section of the Johnson Silver Lincs Way starts from St. James Church Louth and heads across the Lincolnshire Wolds through Hubbards Hills and Welton Vale before finishing at Ludborough. It is a 14 mile walk and available to Ramblers Members only although open to other groups.

The J.S.L.W. was established by Ted and Joan Johnson in 2005 to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the amalgamation  of Grimsby and Louth Ramblers. In total it is just over 25 miles long and can be done in one as a challenge walk but it can also be done in two parts of approximately 14 miles each. Those who complete the walk are entitled to buy the commemorative rucsac badge. 

Dogs are welcome on a short lead but remember to bring them water.

If people leave their cars at the finish at Ludborough there is a bus for Louth at 09-20 to take you to the start.

Cars can be parked outside the Church before the start and a public bus can be boarded to Louth at 09-20 which arrives in Louth in time for the start. The cars will be available at the end of the walk to take you home.
