Overview

The 2nd part of The Johnson Silver Lincs Way is less challenging than the 1st as you head downhill to the coast passing through Ashby Cum Fenby and Barnoldby Le Beck and finishing at Scartho, Grimsby.

As you head from Ludborough you have the view over The River Humber to The Yorkshire coast. This section is mostly downhill but there are a few inclines and finishes on the flat. The finish is only a short walk to The Rose and Crown where a cold drink, (and toilets), will be welcome and there is seating outside for those with dogs.

Buses from Grimsby and Louth arrive in time for a 09-30 start from Ludborough, alternately park your car at Ludborough and bus back from Grimsby. ( The bus stop is outside the Rose and Crown. )

The finish is at Scartho roundabout. There is a car park available 100 yards away on Waltham Road and the bus stop to Ludborough and Louth is 200m yards away outside the Rose and Crown on Louth Road.
