We are the wensum Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk at a moderate pace using footpaths, field edges and quiet lanes.
At about the half way point, the route passes through a farmyard and, close to the end, the Kenninghall Community Orchard. ( see photos ).
General points covering all Wensum Group walks:
There will be a shorter (typically 3 mile) option available at a more leisurely pace. Same venue and start time. The Wensum Group walks usually start from Village Halls and similar venues providing car parking spaces and, frequently, toilet facilities. Upon arrival Members will be asked to contribution to the collection being made for the venue provider - 50p being the minimum.
