Meet at the Elephant and Castle underground station for a 2 mile, easy, circular walk around Elephant and Castle and Kennington, finishing at the Lambeth Workhouse, home of the Cinema Museum, and focussing on sites in the childhood of Charlie Chaplin.
Meet at the ground level South Bank University/Imperial War Museum exit of the Elephant and Castle Underground Station. There are two exits from the Underground station - you do not want the Shopping Centre one. The exit at underground level is on the Bakerloo platform. If you are coming via the Northern Line you must follow the exit signs which will get you to the Bakerloo platform. Walk along the platform for a couple of yards and you will see the exit. Take the lift to the exit hall and wait there. If you are coming to the Elephant and Castle via Thameslink, exit via the eastern exit of the rail station (which at present there is the only one) and turn left round the block to get to the Underground exit.
