Overview

The walk starts along the Hudson Way disused railway, before following minor roads and tracks to South Dalton Church with its iconic spire. Then through the lovely Dalton Park Estate, past the historic Dalton Hall, along Park Lane to South Dalton Wold, before returning to Kiplingcotes station.

There will be a drinks break and also a picnic lunch stop.  

At the time of recce the Hudson Way rail track was quite muddy and a bit slippery- walking pole(s) recommended. If there has been a lot of rain immediately before this walk, part of the Hudson Way will be omitted by walking on minor roads.
