We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Moderate to brisk 21.3 km/13.2 mile walk with 240m ascent, about 5.5 hours walking.
Knebworth Hall, Ayot St Lawrence village, gently undulating, quiet lanes, pretty woods, well kept field verge.
Route: Park Lane to Old Knebworth, Knebworth House and Deer Park, Graffidge Wood, Holl Lays Wood, Three Houses Farm, Node Wood, B656 to Codicote, minor lane through The Grove, Hertfordshire Way to Kimpton Mill, bridleway to Abbotshay, St. Lawrence Church ruin (stop for picnickers), Ayot St Lawrence for lunch, bridleway to Fish Wood, Threegroves Wood, Sparrowhall Bridge, meet River Lee at Waterend, pass Brocket Hall, through golf course and Cat's Gallows to Ayot Green, through Sherrardspark Wood to Welwyn.
Lunch Stop: Ayot St Lawrence for pub lunch at The Brocket Arms - or bring picnic.
Meet at Knebworth Station at 10.35.
Travel: Kings Cross 09.57/Finsbury Park 10.03 arr Knebworth 10.34.
Ticket/Fare: Off-Peak Day Return to Knebworth.
Finish: Welwyn Garden City. Frequent trains.
