Overview

We set off from Jacobean Lane to cross fields and skirt Henwood Hall Farm.
Further tracks and fields to Barston Lane.
A little minor road and quiet lane walking to Barston Church for a banana break.

Then we follow winding footpaths to Hob Lane, then Elvers Green Lane until we pick up footpath to the canal.

We join the canal path exiting near Grove Farm and our return footpath to Knowle.

It's  pretty flat walking but bound to be muddy.

Park in Queen Eleanors Drive OR Minster Close off Jacobean Lane

BUT ... please spread your cars out to leave passing places for locals, and consider car sharing to cut the number of parked cars a tad.

There is actually plenty of space on Queen Eleanors Drive - BUT resist the urge to all park at the Jacobean Lane end.  Ta.

Alternatively park in Lady Byron Lane and walk down to Jacobean Lane.
