Overview

Walk starts at the Knucklas Community Centre and climbs up towards the ruins of the castle with excellent views of the Knucklas Viaduct and the Teme Valley. The route continues following the Heart of Wales Line Trail (HoWLT) descending towards Lloyney, then climbing up onto the open moorland of Goytre Hill and continuing to Werbygeufron Hill before descending into valley and following the road to Heyhope. After Heyhope church we take paths across fields, and then cross the Heart of Wales railway line before returning to Knucklas.
