We are the Surrey Heath Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

The walk starts in the historic village of Lacock, often used as the backdrop to many costume dramas such as Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. We will set off from the NT café, and after walking through the town we pass St Cyriac's Church, then through Redbridge and out into the countryside. We walk along the River Avon then a steep climb up Nocketts Hill, with amazing views, before passing Ash Hill Farm and descending back towards Lacock.
Very muddy after rain, 18 stiles, a long steep hill.
Lacock NT car park. We will meet at the NT Café, see starting point.
We will meet up and start from the NT Café , just past and opposite the NT Visitor Centre. 5mins walk from the car park.
