As we missed the walk around Lambton Park on the 1st I thought we could have a wander around it on the 19th June. The walk is 5 miles, there are no stiles and we will walk on well used paths. There are lots of wild flowers and Rhododendron, as well as some colourful trees, a castle and river thrown in. Meet at 10.30am in the car park which is £3 per car, the postcode is DH3 4AN. What3words ///royal.hired.toast You can always park over at Elba Park and walk over if you want a longer walk and save money. There will be sheep in the fields that we cross, any cattle are in a fenced field.

Turn right out of the park and follow the A183 back to Chester le Street, The golf course is on your right before the river
Directions: Travel onto the A183, pass Burnmoor Cricket Ground and take the next left at the roundabout before the petrol station. Turn left at the next roundabout (Brugeford Way) then the next right along a lane, straight on till you see the small hut next to the car park.
