An undulating country walk through this newly established Wood which was established to mark the centenary of the start of WW1. We will pass the Avenue of Soldiers, the large Wooden Sculpture “Witness”, the orchid, the new children’s playground, the memorial wood for the major sea battle of Jutland, and the bluebells of Little Hurst Wood and Great Hurst Wood.
The Car park will cost £4 per vehicle. There is no entrance charge for the Wood. Those interested in car sharing should text Brian for his suggestion as to where to meet. He can take 3.
